Awarded annually by the Department of the Army to one outstanding cadet in each LET level.

Annual Award presented by the Superintendent to the cadet who exhibits the highest degree of excellence in scholastics.

Annual Award presented by the Principal to the one cadet in each LET (Leadership Education Training) level who maintains highest school academic grades.

Academic Achievement
Awarded annually to those cadets who maintain a grade of "A" in all academic subjects.

Perfect Attendance
Awarded to any cadet who has no unexcused absences or tardies for each semester.

Student Government
Awarded by the Principal to cadets who are elected to a student government office.

Leadership Development Service
Awarded to cadets who successfully complete each LET level.

National Honor Society
Awarded to any cadet who is part of the national honor society.

Honor Roll
Awarded to cadets who are on the Honor Roll each quarter (3.0 GPA or higher).?Cadets also receive Academic Wreath.

Awarded to any cadet who receives all A's in JROTC for a year (includes exams).

Awarded to any cadet who competes in any academic competition at district or higher level (Science Fair Essay etc.)

Awarded to one cadet in each LET level who displays the highest degree of leadership.

Awarded annually to cadets who consistently present outstanding military appearance and bearing and score above 95% on uniform inspections.

Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of leadership academic achievement and performance.

Awarded annually to Drill Team members.

Orienteering
Awarded annually to cadets who are members of orienteering teams.?Also awarded to cadets who complete JCLC (Summer Camp) Land Navigation course.

Awarded annually to members of the Color/Honor Guard (minimum five events).

Rifle Team
Awarded annually to rifle team members who have been on the team for one year.

Awarded annually to cadets who are members of Raiders team or participate in adventure training.

Commendation
Awarded to cadets whose performance of duty exceptionally exceeds that expected of cadets of their grade and experience.

Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated outstanding conduct throughout the year.

JCLC Participation
Awarded to any cadet who successfully participates in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (Summer camp).

Raider Team Ribbon
Awarded annually to Raider team members who have been on the team for one year.

Honor Company
Awarded to all cadets who are members of Golden Gate High School Honor Company from previous year or members of Honor Company at Summer Camp.

School Support
Awarded to any cadet who provides after-school service/support to Golden Gate High School (minimum two events).

Music Performance
Awarded to any cadet who successfully participates for one year in Band Chorus or the Orchestra and participates in at least one performance.

Varsity Athletics
Awarded annually to cadets that excel in varsity sports.

N-2-2
Physical Fitness
Awarded annually to cadets who participate in the Cadet Challenge and maintain excellent physical fitness. Male cadets must run one mile in 8:30 or less females in 10:45 or less. Cadets are eligible if they receive an 85-percentile rating or better in all 5 events.

JROTC Athletics
Awarded to cadets who excel in the Cadet Challenge and JROTC athletics.?Cadets are eligible if they receive a 50-percentile rating or better in all 5 Cadet Challenge events.

Team Excellence
Awarded to members of JROTC teams (includes Drill Team Color Guard Raiders Rifle Team) that successfully compete at the district level or higher.

JV Athletics
Awarded to cadets who are part of a Junior Varsity or Freshman level school sports team.

Parade
Awarded to any cadet who participates in a community parade or ceremony as a representative of JROTC or the band.

Recruiting
Awarded to any cadet who recruits students into the JROTC Program or for recruiting visit to local middle school.

Awarded to any cadet who successfully participates in the annual JROTC inspection.

Awarded to cadets who complete five hours of community support approved by the SAI or AI.
